Dr. Aniruddha Dinkar Mahindrakar

Dr. Aniruddha D Mahindrakar is a Vitreo-Retinal Eye Surgeon at VCARE Eye Clinic in Andheri (West), Mumbai. He is an expert in vitreo-retinal surgery; managing complications of diabetic retinopathy; and, managing retinal detachment that may occur after cataract surgery. Dr. Mahindrakar also visits Orbit Eye Hospital (Jogeshwari West), and Anil Eye Hospital (Dombivli East). He has served as Consultant & Head of the Department of Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at Fortis Hiranandani Hospital. 

Dr. Aniruddha Mahindrakar graduated from the prestigious Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai. He was awarded the VH Majumdar Prize for his excellence in academics. Dr. Mahindrakar is a Sir Ratan Tata Fellow (SRTF) in Ophthalmology from Sankara Nethralaya in Chennai and has also completed a Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery in Mumbai. He is a member of the American Society of Retina Specialists (ASRS).
